Hyperic HQ Plugin Resource Center

Hyperic HQ’s Plugin Framework allows any developer to completely customize, extend and integrate their Hyperic HQ management solution to provide a perfect fit for their environment.

Hyperic HQ Plugins come in two distinct flavors – Management Plugins which allow HQ to discover, monitor, and control any of your applications or devices using an easy Java/XML API; and HQU Plugins which allow users to create custom UI components, web services integration and create custom scripts using the Groovy programming language.

Plugins at the HyperFORGE

All versions of Hyperic HQ download with over 65 plugins ready for use immediately. Additionally the Hyperic Community is active in developing and contributing additional plugins users may find useful. You can find information on all of our plugins as well as HQ tips and tricks at the HyperFORGE. Check it out and see what new plugins have been added, and which ones are under development.

HQU Plugins

This saves significant time and resources and allows users to evolve their management approach over time.

Hyperic HQU plugins can be applied in three ways. Each application is fully documented, and useful examples are available on the Hyperic community HyperFORGE. Key applications include:
